I actually forgot I had done that.... before I hit Regional Director, my hubby and I did NOT talk about my biz, and he was forbidden to ask me anything about it, because he only had negative things to say.... so you might be on the right path here.... :) Now he texts me and says, "hey my card got loaded with more money" lol and he'll compete with me what his weekly pay is versus mine... I have to nicely remind him that I did the work for BOTH of those pay checks! lol!! Hey Ann, I commend you as well! I had to realize if I wanted my dream to help others then I had to stop trying to convince him to come along on this journey. My husband is a software engineer who specializes in finding the string command in a software program that didn't work. He go through an equivalent 400 pages of HTML codes that just didn't work to find the write one. So when I would try and explain to him the business, my honey would just find a reasons why this or that wouldn't work. I couldn't get him to want to brainstorm and figure out how to make it work. Therefore in order for us to remain married, I divorced him from my company. I ended up aligning myself with motivators that want to brainstorm and will pick me up when the going gets a little tough. Melissa, I commend you for being able to get your husband on board!!! However, for me, I was best not to include him. Who knows that may change in a year or two. :)! I feel like I am talking to a wall.It is frustrating because in just a few short months I have creatd and extra income of $2000.00 a month and I recieved a BMW bonus for our family,and he still continues to down size what I am doing.I know this will all change as the business grows and I accomplish what I set out to achieve.It is just frustrating at times.This is when I am very greatfull for my team and my girlfriends. I too had gone through several different types of businesses and changing directions many times. All along telling him the same thing, "this is going to be the thing that works! We'll be making a lot of money." And when they didn't pan out like I thought they would, it reinforced his belief that I should just go and get a "real job". I've been persistent and sticking with it and now that the money is starting to come in, he had started singing a different tune.
